Something I bashed together fairly quickly whilst working on the Dyna Soar and the Bristol 170. For a 1967 kit, it went together quite well.

I can remember Dad buying that kit at Bovington in about 1968. I was disappointed that the tracks didn’t go round frown

Although on a different planet price wise you should check out the Armortek model of this era tank. Seeing them move etc is a treat.

I find these 1/72 and 1/76 AFVs very rewarding to build.

If this had been on any other of the PH forums, you would have received some smutty answers by now. But it's very civilised here. smile

Anyway, Male had 6 pounder guns each side, female had machine guns.

The armament, Male had twin 6 pounders in the 2 sponsons, a Female had .303 Hotchkiss machine guns and a Hermaphrodite one of each.

Indeed. We are all polite and above board on this part of PH - no smuttyness allowed here smile

It was to do with the guns fitted. The "Male" version had what were essentially artillery pieces fitted. The "Female" version had lighter armament.

There was also a "Hermaphrodite" version which had a combination of the two armament options.

Later versions dispensed with the rear steering dolly.

Don't get into an argument with it.
