After trials and tribulations of building my 1/4 scale cub,I think a short build series on my Christmas present wouldn't hurt - Boston for scale.

Have decided to go electric for this. Weirdly when I went to purchase servos (spektrum) they said they were not getting any in until May?! Not sure if that's the same case in UK. Meantime I've put an order for the 6 required to someone selling on ebay.

Wow that's HUGE! I thought my Tamiya boxes were a problem!
I'd love one but I hear flying them in the open is somewhat restrictive nowadays?

I mean this size you're better off doing it at a registered airfield - and for here in the US it's just a case of registering it for $5 and putting the number on the bottom of it and joining the AMA (for insurance).

I have quite a few sub 200gm(?) versions that I just fly in the driveway at home and they aren't classes as drones.
