I have my 4-week old daughter sleeping on me, so thought I'd mess about with Gemini.

Had some old photos of some models that are currently stashed away, I asked Gemini to make them look real/place them in a virtual diorama.

This 1/18 Almost Real Range Rover...

1/18 Minichamps Volvo 740

Just a bit of fun, thought I'd share.

Look quite good, the absence of roadworks and potholes gives it away though. Are there post offices either side of the butcher?

This was my first attempt at something similar, which was a total failure! All attempts to make the aircraft larger or the background smaller fell on deaf ears (or whatever the software uses instead of ears).

However, I shall continue to persevere.

Apart from the comedy Lancaster they're not bad, but the AI cars are too contrasty which is why they look a bit iffy.

I tried a few times to get it to scale up the model to the size of a real car but it just hasn't done it, and it's placed the actual Lego box by the wall.

That's what I found; attempts to edit the picture often met with no success at all.

These are all really good! What AI are you all using and does it produce an image in a high enough resolution to have printed and framed?

I tried mine again using CoPilot which did a much more realistic version , it rendered it is 1024 x 1024 which is ok, wouldn't want to go very big at that resolution though

This one is pretty good. My 1/12 scale Ducati GP4 in a pit lane. This one was done in chatgpt and the image size is 1536 x 1024

krea.ai can enhance and upscale images to 2048x2048 and I believe 4096x4096.

(With apologies for non-model content.)

I've found copilot very lacking in image generation, especially when it's so low res. I will give Krea a shot, thank you.
