Curtiss P-40B Tomahawk II - Airfix 1/72

One I was doing in the background whilst trying to get the He111 finished.

This is another Aldi Christmas Special and was a lovely little kit to put together. Some of the components were a bit fragile and I ended up replacing the wing guns and aerial mast with stretched sprue as the originals did not survive the construction process.

I thought I'd also pose it beside my older build of Airfix's 1960s Kittyhawk kit.

It was a very enjoyable build. I think the canopy sits a bit too high but for £6.99 and hours of fun I'm not complaining.

Now - back to that Heinkel He111.
