RC Helicopter?
Discussion
I have access to a large field at work at weekends where I run my RC cars. I’m thinking of getting a proper helicopter (electric). i used to love reading about them back in the 80s when we all used to buy magazines.
I don’t know anything about brands just from a quick search Blade Fusion seems to be an entry level brand / model, is it any good?
Is there a brand where you make the kit ie like Kyosho / Tamiya RC cars? Any recommendations

Hey, just wondering whether you've ever flown RC helicopters before? If not, you might be better off starting with a more beginner friendly (fixed pitch) model or spending some time on a SIM. I would imagine most high-end models are available as kits, but they're going to be tricky to build and setup. Are there any flying clubs near you?
Some of the smaller Blade helis have SAFE and can recover and hold level like a drone. Most of these will be built and ready to fly.
If you want to build, Align and some other brands will give you that. You can learn quite a bit about how they work from assembling them. The downside is that most won’t have the electronics to save you from crashing. You probably don’t want anything above 500 size to begin.
