Just dragged my old Madcap out of the garage, and it's looking very sorry for itself.
First off I want to replace the shocks as the ones on it are shot. I want to up grade to some better after market ones.
So my question is what ones will fit?
I've looked on various forums, but none have much in the way of answers.

Tried http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/ ?
Very, very helpful forum. Alternatively, sell it to me, as is, and I'll bring it back to life and bash it around the local park all summer.

I had one of them as my first R/C car, which should be still upstairs in the loft. If I remember rightly the shocks aren’t that good to start with, the screw head of the shock rod sits inside a rubber tube inside the shock body.
If you change the motor for a more powerful one, watch out for the motor plate, mine use to flex and move the motor pinion away from the spur gear. So I made new motor plate.
It’s not good I’ve started looking at Tamiya RC cars on a certain auction website
