can anyone tell me how its sposed to be used and is it any good?
I bought some about 25 years ago just to try it. You paint it on, let it dry, then you can polish it with a cloth. Worked OK IIRC, but was never sure how long the shine would last.can anyone tell me how its sposed to be used and is it any good?

whats your take on the basecoat ?
for a plastic car ..primer or no ? then what black paint ?
if i get peel or dirt on the black can i sand or buff it before the alclad?
Sorry, never done overall metallic finishes apart from restored Dinky Aircraft which was just Halfords Aluminium. Probably too grainy for what you want.for a plastic car ..primer or no ? then what black paint ?

Best thing is to test the various shades out on a scrap model first until you find a shade that suits. Alclad have their own website which you might find interesting.
