OK, it's not a scale model in the traditional sense, but might make a welcome addition to the collection.

A friend sent this to me, quite interesting - but I think a good woodworker and a fret saw and some cheap plywood could do 99% as well. Still doesn't stop me wanting Monaco !

£150 for a bit of bent wood?

Was going to get my brother one of LeMans for his birthday but I'm afraid that he will dip out this year.

I could water-jet cut something like that in about 5 minutes. You could even have it out of 10" thick steel if you wanted.

I could water-jet cut something like that in about 5 minutes. You could even have it out of 10" thick steel if you wanted.
What file type to you need to pump into the water cutting machine ?

Sure.

ETA, of course, would have to get permission from work, but can't see a problem if it's a one-off.
