White is my preference at the moment, I think it looks incredible with the Italian stripe-pattern on it as well.

Here is white:

Here is black:

The only thing I prefer about the black one is that the decals on the side are there, I wish there were not absent from the white. Opinions regardless?

I prefer the black. Don't like the price on these things though.

Most expensive 1:18 AUTOart to date?

I believe so yes. I don't have an AutoArt yet, the 'nicest' model in my fledging collection is a Norev Lola Aston Martin, #528 smile

I am a massive fan, however, of Pagani. Seeing as these are going to be fairly limited in terms of numbers I'm (trying to make myself) see it as an investment. Especially as I'm 17 haha!

The black car just looks evil - thats the one i'd go for as it is a fantastic model of an awesome car.

Or maybe buy one of each if you cant decide!!!

I'm just really taken with the white one! And seeing as all of you have said black, it looks like it'll be rarer as well hehe

If only I could afford about ~£360 to put out on a pair of models! No, road fund licensing has put pay to that...

My mistake, I have a 1:18 AUTOart Boxster, which I always forget about for some reason. Detail is superb on it, carpet lined interior and boot!

Saw both black and white versions in the "flesh" out of their respective boxes when i popped into the main petrol garage next to the Nurburgring on Monday while I was there on a track day.

Models looked very detailed indeed!!! However I wouldn’t have one on the principal that they wouldn’t go with my collection as they look to hyper carish and none realistic. Horses for courses I guess

Shop wanted EURO 280 for each of them!

It must be black.

The model is awesome, the detail stunning and I feel that it was very much worth the purchase price.

Slightly OT. I had a look at a Mondo 1:18 Zonda F today. Looked a bit rough around the edges and certainly not worth the asking price of £35.

Anyone have one of these to prove me wrong?

I love the natural carbon fibre finish but the cost is too high for me to justify adding one to my collection unfortunately.

I'm this much of a petrol head that it's likely to be my 18th Birthday gift whichever colour I choose, as I cannot think of anything else.

I have a collection that is about mainly sports & super cars in terms of 1:18, but if there are other 1:18's they are all pick up trucks and the like from when I was younger and would buy them on holiday in the States.

I still think white, the only things pulling me to the black one are that the majority of you guys seem to prefer it and the decals down the side, oh I wish they were present on the white, at least the "Zonda R" one. Shame.

I really like the Black.

In fact, I'm torn too...between the Black Zonda and the 1:12 GT3RS in Orange/Black.

Is the 1:12 worth the extra cash, anyone seen one in the metal? It's 37cm and 5kgs!

The GT3 RS is a car I want to own at some point (1:1 scale!), whereas the Zonda is a dream car...but does that mean I should buy the Zonda or RS??

Help!

Is it realistic for you to own a GT3RS? If it is I'd say get the Zonda. Then once you've got the RS you can relish the real thing, and get the model once it's gone to remind you of it! Then you end up with both, and a real RS! smile

More realistic than the Zonda! I like your thinking, I did the same with my 997 and 993, but never could find a decent model of a Versuvious 993S.

The interior of the RS model is awesome though.

So, you made your mind up on the White one then? I always go with first choice gut feel....they are both lovely models!

I think I am going to go for white, yeah. I just like how the Italian markings look with it like that, and the contrast between the white and the black is fantastic.

Such a nice model, I do love AUTOart! cloud9

Expensive? Yes, but the detail is really very impressive. More components than any other individual model they've made.
