Something a little different....
Discussion
My latest completed model - I wanted to do a little experimentation with painting, and I've had this in a box in pieces ready to paint for well over a year now.
It's the main character's mech from an anime series called Linebarrels of Iron: in 1/144 scale, in a colour scheme I came up with while I was painting it.
It's a posable model, but most kits like this are designed to be displayed as bare plastic (they come moulded in colour), so there isn't enough free movement to allow posing once it's painted - it'd destroy the paintwork.

Painting white really does take a lot of coats, doesn't it? IIRC I sprayed about 20-30 coats to get it to this, followed by 3/4 coats of Alclad Aqua Gloss. Still, I'm a little more prepared for the Evo I have lined up now.
