Anyone buying a rereleased Tamiya FAV?

If so please can you send me a pm - am trying to find out if they've changed the gearbox internals as I'd love to get my original Wild One running again. The gearbox casing looks the same as mine but can't believe Tamiya won't have changed the innards. I've looked for an online manual for the rereleased FAV but it doesn't seem to be available yet.

I bet they haven't changed a thing. In general, re-releases are exactly the same as the first issue when it comes to models - and with Tamiya I think they will do the same for their RC cars given what I've seen of various models over the years.
