Where to buy modelleling supplies online
Discussion
Well it's been years since I did any model making of any sort, but am currently rushing to build up a banked oval raceway Scalextric track for Little Groomi's 3rd birthday. I'm not doing anything complicated, but just want to do a grass infield, replicate a tarmac pitlane and also I'm doing a garage to keep the cars in - so was thinking about using some of that brick patterned paper.
Unfortunately I have no time to find a local model shop (if there is such a thing these days) and go and choose stuff by sight, so I have to rely on the internet.
Are there any sites that you guys can recommend for such things?

EModels may have what you're looking for, for different surfaces you can use powders which are sprinkled onto a glue or just buy pre-made sheets.
Wet and dry sandpaper can also make for a good tarmac surface.

Hannants is another good modelling site that will have lots of materials available.

I'd seen the EModels site before, but coming across it tonight after a bottle of vino I've bought myself a simple Airfix kit to kick-start my modelling again!
Looking through some of the box art there has brought back some memories, I loved getting the Academy aircraft kits as they were top quality and had great artwork, unlike the watered down Airfix kits of late.

When I last modelled I used O gauge brick paper for my scalectrix buildings, however this looks fun. Print your own! http://www.modeltrainsoftware.com/brickyard.html
