That will only get more expensive imo. If you don't need the cash hang on to it. Awesome thing, that!

I asked my girlfriend for this for Christmas and got something I didn't want instead, so now I am left with the choice of dig deep, or go without. Might have to see if I get a christmas bonus this year...

If you do decide to sell it, can you pm me for a heads up. Thanks.

It's big - but doesn't have the same appeal as the UCS Falcon and I can't see it fetching as much in future.

Lucky, lucky chap having a new sealed one! £1400 is a real chancers price though, they tend to go for about £800-£850 (which is still a great return on the original price) for a new, boxed one.

Our house is slowly becoming over-run with the stuff... for my son obviously hehe

I ummed and arrred about getting the millennium falcon, by the time I decided to get one they stopped selling them.

I'm still tempted to get one but £1400 is crazy money!

I have loads of it. All Star Wars ( but with a few choice Technic sets ) and all still in the Lego shipping boxes. Whenever I see a set I fancy I buy it ( about 1 set every month or 2 ) with the intention of eventually building it. I somehow never find the time. Then 6 years ago I had a little girl so have even less time.

She has no interest in Lego but I kept buying the stuff lol !!! It's mounting up. I probably have around 120-150 sets. Good job my Mum has a big loft !

Not really paid much interest in the prices but the Falcon was a bit of an eye opener. I guess some of the older stuff maybe worth a few quid as well.

My son (6) is Lego Star Wars/Indiana Jones/Harry Potter mad. Have spent hundreds on the stuff in the last few years but I enjoy getting hold of the older stuff which is no longer in production (just bought 3 Indiana Jones sets in this regard).

Let me know if you ever fancy getting rid of any of it smile
