TEU-103-BK ESC PROBLEM!

So i fitted the ESC to my M03 mini today, set up straight away, bleeped and flashed in all the right places,
took her for a spin with her new shocks,tyres and motor, all working fine but if the car gets more than 10 metre's away it looses all signal, has abit of a kick-off, turns right on its own, wont go into reverse then stops,

if i walk into range it picks it up and carry's on working fine, the control is fine because it worked before i put the ESC in and i could drive it quite far away,

any ideas will be much apprciated..

Here's a few things to try - it would help if you could tell us the type of radio (AM, FM, FHSS etc).

- Check you didn't break your receiver wire while working on your car.
- Re-route the receiver antenna wire well away from the ESC and the motor.
- If your motor is brushed, check that the noise suppression capacitors haven't come off.
- If it's an FM or AM receiver (ie: not FHSS) then try a different pair of crystals.
- Run the ESC's signal cable (to the receiver) through an RF choke (this is last gasp).
