I started competing in DLG comps last year. I really enjoyed it, a massive change from my usual aerobatics flying but no less demanding. It is a very pure discipline, battling against the elements.
I have just been very naughty though, having just bought a 4 meter Hyper Ava Pro E electric thermal model.
Looking forward to launching the huge beast skywards and hunting thermals next year.
No reason for the post, just had to tell someone.....my wife just asked where I would keep it and how the hell I would transport it in my car.....err no idea.
