Afternoon People. So, it's been ages since I built or even touched something to do with modelling and as a favour to a Mate which I thought would help me get back into it before I started other projects, I took an old Jupiter C modle and gave it a go.

Results:

Got loads more piccies but they were of the stage by stage build.

Quite chuffed with the results, 3 weeks work.

Crikey, did they make the gantry in metres and the rocket in feet?

That's only parft of it.

Thanks for the model comment, took ages to work out where everything went as the model was so old all the bits had fallen off the racks so I had no idea what each number each part was.

Good observation smile

The service gantries used for the Redstone/Jupiter C rockets were modified gulf oil drilling platforms - so were a bit excessive for the actual rocket.
