Right, a few weeks ago I promised to get some pictures up here. I've now gone through the first 24 boxes of about 75. These are the smaller boxes, mostly containing painted metal and plastic things.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could let me know what it is, and if anyone is likely to be interested in it! I'll get the rest done over the weekend.

The photos are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/49224923@N03/sets/721...

This has all been cleared from my uncle's flat after he died last Autumn. A huge collection of Warhammer stuff, and we've got no idea what any of it is...

Thats mostly Warhammer 40k stuff

Box 1 looks like it contains some Tyranids and possibly a Blood Bowl team
1.1 has a Necromunda figure I believe
Box 2 not sure
Box 3 is 2 Chaos Defilers, some Ultramarine tanks and a converted Ork captured Space Marine tank
Box 8 Chaos Space Marines
Box 9 Imperial Guard
Box 10 more Ultramarines 10.1 Ultramarine bikes
Box 11 is Warhammer, looks like Night Goblins, Squigs and Night Goblins on Spiders
Box 12 is another Ork looted Leman Russ and a Chaos Land Raider
Box 14 is possibly Mighty Empires, its the Wahammer ship fighting game but its out of production I believe and might be rare
Box 15 more Warhammer again but Empire army I believe
Box 16 is 40k Demon Spawn, Blood Angels and a Chaos Rhino
Box 17 is more Ultramarines and a Dreadnaught?
Box 18 is either Chaos Spawn or Tyranids Same for box 20
Box 21 looks like old Epic stuff, Gargants and Titans but not sure exactly
Box 22 is more of the Warhammer ships, look like Elves to me and Orcs
Box 24 is mixed but theres an Eversor Assasin in the bottom right corner, black painted dude

However in defence of my coolness I am claiming this account was hacked by a geek!!!

Cant help with the rest and in all seriousness it is years since I played however some of that stuff is rare I believe

Stick it all on eBay, there's probably a few hundred quids worth there. I'll have another look when I'm not tired to help with the descriptions.

big green tank - ork looted leman russ???

Last lot . . .

Box 17:

Looks like a load of ultramarines tactical marines. I can also see a tech-priest in there (big robot arm on back), some devastators (large shoulder mounted weapon), and the big robot thing is an ironclad dreadnought (as it has the rocket launchers on the shoulders)
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productD...

Box 18:

Don't recognise these, look like chaos demons but may not be games workshop. Or they could be really old, out-of-production (oop) and worth £50 each!

Box 20:

Chaos demons. Pink horrors
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productD...

Bloodletters of khorne
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productD...

Daemonettes
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productD...

Box 21

Big roundy robots are ork gargants, the red one is an imperial titan, maybe a warlord. Games workshop don't make epic stuff any more so these might be worth a bit. Looks like a couple more ultramarine landspeeders in there as well.

I can't help much on the others, sorry. The painting looks pretty good on the whole, but value of models is often down to rarity value. The metal ones are older, out of production (all GW stuff is resin now apparently), and often more in demand, but you would need to photograph each one individually really. They could be worth anything from £3 to £20 each!

(I should add here that although I used to be completely obsessed with Warhammer stuff, I have completely grown out of it and moved on to other pursuits. Which are all equally as nerdy. I have been subconsciously carrying all this information around in my head for about ten years, and had no idea it might be useful again one day!)

Chaos spawn, plastic kit and relatively recent. Looks like a Warhammer zombie with the banner and the other two I don't recognise but could be something OP's uncle made.

Box 14 looks like Dystopian Wars, not a GW game, and the fact that there are a load of Dystopian Wars stuff in Box 23 lends credence to this. Also the saling ships could be from Uncharted Seas. Both of these games come from Spartan Games.

One helpful hint is that generally Warhammer 40K come on round bases and Warhammer Fantasy are on square bases, may help in sorting out. (But Warhammer LOTR also comes on round bases)

Box 1 is space hulk gene stealers and necromunda gang members.

I'd sort out all the metal miniatures and strip them with nitromors. I've sold about 20 metal miniatures and averaged about 3-5 quid an item. You'll get more for bare metal items, if you can be arsed to do it.

Box 4 - if Slaves to Darkness or Lost and the Damned are in there defiantly fleabay them.
Worth 50+ quid each if mint. Other hardback manuals from 80's can be worth a few quid too.
