cardboad tube challenge . . .

I have about 100 off, 150mm diameter x 1m long cardboard tubes that I want to get rid of - so here is my idea for a bit of fun (local of course) . . .
THE GREAT CARDBOARD TUBE CHALLENGE!!!
Purpose - to make/create something out of the cardboard tube that will be judged alongside all other entries within two categories - cat 1 will be the most arty construction and cat 2 the most impressive construction - first, second & third place in each cat.
Entry £5 - you get one free tube from which to start from!
ALL ENTRY FEES WILL BECOME THE PRIZE FUND and split 3/12 for each 1st prize and 2/12 for second place and a 1/12 for third place in each cat!
RULES
ONLY one cardboard tube to be used per entry
fasteners can be used (not excessive) but no other material must be used as structure to your entry
only hand tools can be used to fashion the tube material - no cnc etc LOL
you can decorate the finished entry as you see fit
I would really like to involve the local schools in this one and also try and get some extra prize fund from local engineering companies etc - so what do you think and have you any suggestions for the challenge, the rules etc etc - dont want to make any money out of this - just a bit of local fun!

Year back at school we entered the Granada Power Games one year where you had to build a vehicle out of card board only - PVA glue was allowed. The only metal parts allowed where wheels and axles.
The competition involved a standing push start and the driver having to navigate a couple of 90 degree turns to the finish line. The runs were timed.
We built a push bike, a very very simple design out of tubes pretty much exactly as you've described.
There were loads of four wheeled entrants, but with the minimised rolling resistance of only two wheels and a very sharp steering angle we were onto a winner and IIRC won the competition.
