Not one of my favourite builds and will probably stay away from vinyl from now on and stick to resin.

This pic shows the diorama overall.

This one I cropped to give it more atmousphere.

Do you use oil paints for the figure Shar? They work a treat for skin tones - a tip I was given years ago when doing 1/35 Tamiya mil stuff.

Have a wow! from me

she's a fantastically life like figure

Unless you convinced the missus to pose uncomfortably in mud with a couple of wings sellotaped to her back for a good ten minutes

great skin tones

I almost feel uncomfortable 'cos I want to see more eek

can you tell I like it/her?

excellent

Eric, the background with the moon is just a photograph. The forground is made up using ready mixed tile grout for the base and scenic water for the wet bits, plus a some twigs from a nearby park.

Thanks Rhinochopig, no I use artists acylics, although in much the same way as oils, just that they dry a lot quicker.

Perdu, thanks very much. Hmm! wonder what the answer would be IF I did ask my girlfriend to pose for something like this? I probably wouldn't be on PH for a while as I recuperated in hospital. laugh

Vinyl ... eurrggghhhh.

I have 3 vinyl figure kits. One half-completed, the other two untouched. Give me resin any day.

Full marks for having the skills and patience to make it look so good!

Yeah it's 'orrible stuff to work with, resin is a much nicer medium.
