i've had a quick search but nothing seems to come up, so thought it worth a mention.
www.miniatur-wunderland.com

i was just looking at the various threads in this forum, and thought it worth a mention.
i know its in hamburg, but if ever your that way, this place is a must. its huge, and really is something for everyone, car, trucks, boats, planes, trains etc. the airport is amazing, if you get a chance have a look at the vids on the website, think there is an english speaking option to i.i.r.c
we were in hamburg last year, and in between work got a day off, so went along for a look and couldn't believe what a fantastic place it was. myself and 4 of the other truck drivers were like little kids again.

And don't forget the Prototyp racing car museum and Maritime Museum, which are both excellent, and within 10 mins walk of the model railway...

It's pretty small compared with the others, and concentrates on Porsche a lot. There is a lot of stuff about post-war racing in Germany too. Well worth a trip if you're in Hamburg, but wouldn't go specifically for that museum TBH.
