Maschinen Krieger model kits
Discussion
I was browsing a model website and found an interesting Sci-fi kit that led me to look up the range:

Now I quite like Mech's, Stompy robot things and hovertanks, and it seems that there is a kind of alternate WW2 series of kits based on a Japanese comic, where the Germans and Russkies now have robot tanks, metal suits etc.
Looking through the galleries on the above website, the kits are incredibly well detailed and painted, there's some serious talent there!
Has anyone dabbled with these kits before? Seems Hasegawa do some, as well as a company called Wave Melusine. None are very cheap though!
This kit in particular has stunning paintwork I think, it almost looks like real metal that's suffered weathering: http://www.maschinenkrueger.com/joomla/index.php?o...

EDIT: I have no idea why that link now has a PH smiley in there!
