Made a boo boo on eBay last night. I bid on an rc car as have been wanting a truggy or something to tinker with while post surgery next week.

Thought I was bidding on an 1/10 or 1/8 buggy like a slash traxxas etc, but seems I brought a rc18 t! And they look bloody tiny! Is this going to be any good for bashing off road and around the beach etc?

Looks a well tuned up version, but also how long are lipo's going to last? Also I have paid too much I think?

This is the one I bid on.

No Idea on pricing, but the buggy version of the RC18 goes really well at our indoor track (carpet). I'd imagine that it'll be fine on the beach (smooth surface), but not much use on grass, unless it's really short.

After looking at some youtube efforts, they seem stupidlyfast and pretty good offroad. So I am looking forward to it more now. The idea of running a 1/8 brushless beast and having to buy large expensive LiPo's now seems the more stupid bid to have made.

Anything team associated will be pretty bullet proof , and have a decent spares back up.

I reckon it will be fine.

No wont be any good for on sand but you could take it off road Ish.

They are well made cars and you can get them to go pretty quick but the trouble your going to have is the size of it. Will be to small to cope with mega ruff stuff. You could still have plenty of fun with it.

If you don't like it flog it on again on eBay or even try oople.
