Just finished this model as part of a build review on Britmodeller for Encore Models, part of Squadron Productions. The base kit is by Revell from the 1960's, to which Encore have added Wooden decks, Etched brass, turned brass barrels and resin parts. Although there were some problem areas, they were soon sorted with the use of Mr Dremel. I really enjoyed building it although there was some pressure being a review build. Hope you like it.

Brilliant work; lovely intricate detail - are they real wooden decks?

ETA, you already answered that question: they look great.

Fantastic.

Hope to see it for real at the next Farnborough IPMS meeting.

I love that era of naval history.
