Hi,

I have been thinking of getting a boat for a while. Budget will be up to £500'ish. It'll just be for fun, my 2 year old son will love it too (he will be strictly observed when using it, like with my other rc cars). Anyway, I've looked a few but really cannot decide what's good and bad. I already have a selection of RC cars (shumacher fusion, thunder tiger mta4 and a couple of tamiya electrics). I'm just really stuck when it comes to boats.

Which is better than others? Is there anything I should be aware of? What happens when I run out of fuel/power in the middle of the ocean hehe, how do I get it back? Where would I be allowed to "play" with it? I'm guessing the local boating loch would be out of the question? I'm a complete noob with boats!

Obviously nitro will be pretty fast, but is this really needed/better when I'm not racing it? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Neil.
