Anyone bought any models from them?
Have seen a couple that take my fancy however as buying over t'internet thingy direct from the USA, sight unseen, I'm unsure as to the logistics involved.
They sell in US dollars, obviously, so. Assume that m bank account will be debited with the equivalent in pounds. Will it not?
As for postage etc anyone know exactly how they are packaged & how long delivery takes because the website does not give info regarding that side of the sale.
They have got some cracking deals on Group C & Group 5 cars - just need to be certain in my own mind that I get a good deal if I decide to take the plunge.
So far I have, in my virtual mind, spanked $1500 on models.....
In reality I would probably be spending no more than $200 on a couple of models I like the look of - namely a Group 5 Porsche 935K3 & a Group C Jaguar XJR9 LM which, thankfully, comes complete with full Silk Cut livery!!

I looked at photos of the Exoto XJR9-LM when I was building mine - it does look a nice model.Have seen a couple that take my fancy however as buying over t'internet thingy direct from the USA, sight unseen, I'm unsure as to the logistics involved.

For less than $100, & 1/18 scale, i think its a bargain. Just not sure of the logistics of getting it from the USA.
Want it - particularly because it retains full Silk Cut livery.
BTW - have you seen the Sauber C9 set that they are offering at the moment - $3500 for an exquisite pair of C9's!
You get a fully constructed car & a fully detailed rolling chassis.
Way out of my price bracket however it looks stunning.

Exoto models are great but cs is terrible
I bought a daytona set and the 999 in the space of a week the 999 arrived in the uk within 5 days the daytonas took more than a month which involved 5 emails all of which i was on the phone to them and they said they had got the emails but then just ignored it and 3 phone calls to them to find out the system didnt authorise the daytona order but did with the 999 order.
The 999 arrived damaged then it went missing when i was returning it back to them which again was another phone call to exoto which they were then asking me where it was as they said a ups man had turn up at their office to pick it up (how????) and then a chat to ups turned out they had abandoned it in the uk without it leaving the uk and just claimed the money for the model of ups.
