Hi all

Is there a decent-ish market for diecast model vehicles (or even remote control cars)? There seems to be lots of makers around with a wide variety of models both new and old.

Just asking as want a little side line with a bit of spare cash i have but obviously need to make sure its going to be sellable.
Are there any preferable makers to go with such as IXO, Minichamps, MAISTO etc?

Still very popular and plenty of people buy them!

However if you are looking to buy a few to resell at a profit I really wouldn't recomend it. Margins can be tiny on stuff like Minichamps and established sellers will have deals with the wholesalers meaning they can buy cheaper than you will meaning that it'll be difficult to make much (any?) profit.

Thanks and yes i see many Minichamps are selling for lower prices on eBay than the trade prices I've seen!

Aside from minichamps, what are the other better manufacturers?

AutoArt, Kyosho, Ebbro, Looksmart, Hotwheels Elite (yes!), and some IXO.
