Decent quality small RC cars

Any recommendations for a decent quality small scale RC car? Something like 1:43 would be great. Don't mind if it's a kit. I remember seeing some really small nitro cars from one of the big names a while ago but I have no idea what they were now.

Edit: I think I was thinking of the Losi Micro electric cars. They're bloody expensive though.

If your looking into cars of that size I think the only option would be electric, in fact I don't even though think popular brands rc models go that small. I believe traxxas do a very good 1:18th scale car, but the name of it escapes me.

Not sure on the scale but i have a very small losi desert truck - full ready to run out the box. Ive upgraded it with lipo battery and it really is great - carpet, decking, tiles and gravel are all fun!

Kyosho D-Nano are brilliant fun, very upgrade able and the bodies have lovely detail

Great suggestions - thanks. I'm very tempted by the Kyosho Lancia Delta. What's performance like? I know it says 'equivalent scale speed of 700 km/h' but what does that actually mean? How would it compare to a Tamiya TT-01, for example.

Not sure how they compare to the Tamiya in outright speed as they are vastly different scales, but the DNano and their bigger brother, the Mini Z are plenty fast enough stock and have a lot of aftermarket parts available for tuning them up.

You do need a very smooth floor for the DNano though, won't work on carpet!

I've got a pair of Losi Micro T's, because one wasn't any fun but the office championship is hotting up nicely.
