I see your Scalextric and Lego for Christmas and raise you a Lego City advent calendar.

Mad? Possibly biggrin

Should have seen my in-laws faces when they asked what I want for Christmas and I said Lego bounce

I'm 54 & currently building quite a lot of Lego Technic including the Unimog, the Excavator & the Flatbed Truck.

Also bought the new Rescue Helicopter & the 4 x 4 Crawler although these will appear after Xmas as I will blame them on the post Christmas sale at Argos........

Our living room window sill is currently home to two Lego Ferrari F1 cars & the Lego Cherry Picker truck.

The Supercar is in the bedroom along with the Tractor/Trailer unit & I'm chasing down the Ferrari Enzo Technic kit as well.

Fleabay prices are stupidly high however I know someone who has got two, one unopened, & he might be willing to sell me the unopened one so I'm working on it.

I did mention getting our 7 year old son a Scalextric set for Christmas. SWMBO said, simply, no because he would never get to use it!

I'm a teenager and I enjoy Scalextric, Hornby and Airfix and recently built a Lego Campervan. My friends think I'm a nutter (what could anyone want more than an Ipad or Call of Duty?) but you're never too old to have fun with some good quality models (I object to my friends calling them toys).

mid-60s and believe/hope Lego Technic is hidden somewhere in the house.

As Clarks have told us; "Act your shoe size, not your age". (Doesn't work in Europe).

Only got 1 on there so far. I am currently bidding on some from eBay at the moment. I reckon a couple of more should do it.
