Scalextric track build

I'm just awaiting the track to arrive but will be building an 8ft long by 4.5ft wide track fixed onto a board that I want to be able to lift up to clip against a wall.

My question is how do people fix track onto boards that can be lifted/titled?

I've seen people advertise made up tracks on boards that can be tilted but can't seem to see how they secure the track, can anyone enlighten me?

and if you are handy with a router why not try making your own track on an 8x4 sheet of mdf ? loads of threads on there how to do it
