First American car, first American model kit. It's not half bad. Lots of details, reasonable fit. Some extra details have been added as well, especially in the engine bay.

Excellent job. From the look of the box it looks like it could be a minger, but your build is outstanding.

Paint finish on the body looks particularly good.

The yellow is Halfords car paint over Halfors Yellow Primer, and the gloss clear coat is Tamiya TS-13, then Tamiya Polishing compound, then "Final Detail" wax. It'd taken me about 16 or 17 cars built before I learned this technique. The others were varying levels of gloss and semi-gloss.

I used the TS-13 clear on my XJR-9LM, but I couldn't find any of the Tamiya polishing compound so I used t-cut followed by Autoglym. it worked OK.

I also used Tamiya Spray (TS) gloss White and gloss Purple decanted into my airbrush through a straw and it went on beautifully with virtually orange peel. Also has the advantage of being perfectly thinned.
