I've just flown my first r/c plane. I built it over Christmas and took it up for the second time today. It's a multiplex fun cub - made of super tough foam (which pops back to its original shape if immersed in boiling water). It's got a brushless motor and flaps, and is really easy to fly. I'm really enjoying learning to fly - it can be super docile and fly very slowly (especially with the flaps down), or do loops etc. I just threw together this video from today's flights.

I hope it's not going to turn into an expensive hobby...

Just getting back into 1:10 buggy racing after a break of about 20 years. Suddenly realised how little I understood about vehicle dynamics as a kid. Never been one to run to standard spec, so having fun catching up with the latest technologies and playing with some new ideas.
