After hovering over the buy-it-now for a pumpkin black edition for the past few weeks - this video has made me push it! Oh well it will keep the other shelf queens company...

Great vid - would love to have a go on that track!

If only I knew of tracks like that, I would never have sold my tamiya F103

Vintage? That Pumpkin ltd edition was only released a few years ago tongue out

I've recently dug my collection out and have looked on eBay at the worryingly high price of replacement parts for the various TA03's I have, so much so I'm a bit worried to put them through their paces...

That looks like good fun, I currently race more modern Tamiyas, but would love a go with some of those. thumbup

I'm also in the process of making a drift car, probably not to other people's tastes, but it's fun. biggrin

My Dad has an old Tamiya TA01 in the garage, but he doesn't dare use it incase he breaks something and he can't source spares.

Parts for most Tamiya's are easily sourced. We all race modern rc cars but this added an element of fun to the race schedule.

I have just bought a clodbuster to have a go with, but I really want a Hotshot.

I think all cars up to (but excluding)the Avante are allowed. Some are modern versions of the Frog / Hornet so they are allowed. All run silver can motors.

I still have a Rough Rider in my Mum's loft. It needs a little TLC but will be revamped when my little lad is big enough to use it.

There were a few people that used to come down to the club I race at and they had quite a few vintage Tamiyas, one had a Sand Scorcher and another a Hotshot.

I really want the former now. biglaugh

Edit: If only I lived closer, I'd probably visit.

Club is Eastbourne Electric Car Club. www.eecc.co.uk

If you google maps bn27 3pr and zoom in a bit, then down a bit, you'll see the track alongside the A22

we race Wednesday evenings and alternate Sundays through the summer, with a monthly meeting in the winter.

Very friendly club and these were introduced as a fun class alongside the touring cars, Tamiya M03/5 class and WGT's

Hopefully i'll get some more video shot tonight, or come along at the weekend and join in!

Cheers Simmond.
I've bought MissB a lunchbox to play about with, might have to pop along with it and have a play sometime.

I look forward to more vids...commented and subscribed to your channel.
