An interesting article, especially the Bloodhound SAM carrier.

Sadly, none of mine survived.

He bought a lot of fun to my childhood & sparked the flame of imagination.

Somewhere I have a Corgi Bloodhound still in its box, the only one of mine that did survive till now. I think I'll search it out and say a quiet 'thank you' for all the years of play I got from it and my other Corgis.

Brilliant.

I never had one (too early for my childhood) but if I did, it would be considered a treasured possession.

Difficult to explain but I have a huge fascination with that era in relation to the Cold War & the defence of the day.

Thank you, brought back memories of a more innocent time...
