Flying a Hubsan X4

I've had this for a week or so now and I just can't get the hang of it.

I've done the stick waggling calibration thing shown on YT.

It seems to want to go forwards and right without any input.

When I try to correct, it's sometimes ok for a while and sometimes over corrects ... and sometimes ignores me.

Any thoughts? The sensitivities look to be set about 60 which I think is ok.

When I do manage to stabilise it, I also struggle to get a static hover height and then I correct ... and then it either crashes or goes too high.

This is indoors (in the house). I did try it outdoors (for more space) but I find it tough to judge what it's doing as it's just a tiny black silloutte dot.

Any tips?
