Im refreshing an old wild one, ive put in a modern battery pack,some new wheels and tyres,new rear shocks etc
im considering the motor and diff next, is it worth me putting in a sport tuned motor and refurbing the diff?
Any tips on the diff area in particular would be appreciated, the car is pretty much standard.

if it was me, I would ballrace it, rebuild the diff, and drive it gently

good luck - trying to resurrect my Wild One too but having issues with the gearbox. Despite having loads of used 'spares' and trying the gearbox mod involving fitting an extra shim (tried a small bearing and assorted thickness washers) I still can't get the gearbox to work...
