Afternoon all smile

What's this?
As per the Technic Lego thread, I am putting together a group buy for the forthcoming 42009 Mobile Crane Mk2 set.

Is it PH approved?
Well, I've spoken to Garlick and got agreement to run this as a group buy. smile

How much will it be?
We're hoping to get 20% off the RRP, which we anticipate will be £150. The price will include next day delivery to the UK. Anyone outside of the UK please let us know and we can sort something out.

What's in it for you?
Nothing. I'm getting 20% off the price, just like you guys. A friendly fellow happens to own a shop that sells Technic Lego and you are buying from him.

Do I have to commit now?
NO! At this point we're just looking for interested parties to come forward so we know how many to try and get! The only point you actually commit is when you buy from the website.

How do I buy?
Register interest and when the launch happens you will be sent a link. We ask you not to post this all over the internet though.

When does it happen?
Launch date is expected to be 5 August.

Other sets
We're trying to sort a bundle offer (similar discount) with 42008 Service Truck, the Unimog and the Crawler.

I'm in!
If you're interested, please drop us a line at technicgroupbuy@gmail.com

Just wanted to say massive thanks to all involved in setting this up and I hope Russy's margins aren't taking too much of a hit for the discount wink

woohoo

Can I just clarify, is the £150 the expected RRP or the expected price after discount?

£150 is the RRP.

We're hoping to get 20% off that AND include next day delivery.

Don't worry about us, its not supposed to be a money making exercise, its just a way of giving something back to like minded PH'ers.
I find it great thinking about how excited 50-60odd blokes are going to be come delivery day!!!

(But incase your interested we'd probably need an order of 10,000 units to get LEGO to consider a discount!)

Got 32" into the you tube link and I'm in, didn't really need much persuading either. Couldn't stretch to the Unimog a while ago but would bundle it with the 42009 now. Email sent.
