1:43 scale car showroom.
Discussion
I had one when I was a kid, at least I think it was 1:43 scale, it was too small for Corgi and Dinky cars.
A nice little late 1960s showroom I was given by some neighbours who were clearing out stuff. I recall it was probably made of some sort of kit.
I'd like something similar for my small collection of 1:43 scale cars. I buy a model of a new car when I get the real car.
There are print yourself kits out there. I'm not very good with card, but would prefer a plastic kit, or better still ready made.
Any thoughts?

Your problem will be scale, 1:43 is near-as-dam it, O scale in model railway terms, 7mm to the foot.
Any building will be pricey due to sheer size.
You could try these, print and build kits, although 4mm scale, you can print them larger to equate to 7mm scale (175%), I have done a few like this, they make up into very good models.

Alternatively scratch build one, not that difficult, if you prefer plastic then use Slater's embossed plastic sheet (https://slatersplastikard.com/plastikard/embossed.php).
I used Slater's plastic sheet when I built my 7mm factories, with careful painting and weather it can look quite effective.

That looks great, not a great model train fan but would love to see more pics of that setup!Any building will be pricey due to sheer size.

That Sir is bloody fantastic....
Might we have some videos too
My trains are Lego - don't laugh, mainly because I collected loads of the stuff years ago and mostly because I can smash trains and buildings up when I've had enough
There's no way I ever get results like that - well done. Used to do a bit of 009 however.

The messy lego room - interestingly O gauge there or there abouts...

I notice there is a ship there. What scale is that? Is it from a kilt?
The scale is 1:43.5 or 7mm to the foot.I bought the boat from one of those cheap shops that pop up every now and then for £9.99, it was just the right size to the plans I had for scratch building so saved a bit of time. It had a full hull and mounted on brass pillars on a wooden plinth, these I removed and used a bench belt sander to remove the hull to the waterline.
I scratch built proper sized hand rails, added doors, panel framing, tyres and weathered it. The masts and rigging are completely wrong, I have a friend who helps operate the layout at shows who is a boat enthusiast, he keeps on at me to build new rigging and masts, even given books showing what I need to build, it is on the 'To do' list.
Here is a picture not long after the hull was removed and before I started detailing.

This is one of the few shots I have of the boat itself after detailing.
