anywhere make affordable custom decals
Discussion
I've had success with the sheets of waterslide decal paper you can put through a lazer printer, worked a lot better than expected actually. The plain white sheets worked best as they are much more opaque but you have to cut then out very accurately otherwise you get a white border.
It can be expensive online but my local model shop was able to order me some in, think it was from the "Hobbies" catalogue/wholesaler.

Crafty Computer Paper is the place to buy it online. Clear or white. Works on inkjets if you follow the simple instruction, (in every pack). Been using it for yonks. I've tried all manner of inkjet papers including those mentioned above and nothing comes close to a vinyl sticker printed from a plotter.
If you're handy with design software and can put it into a decent format then I've found that some vinyl printing companies will do it. Often charge £10 a pop for the hassle of doing a 1-off more than anything.
Here's some I printed recently for an RC project -

Not the best picture in the world to demonstrate to be honest!
