Need help with a bloomed windscreen
Discussion
I've just got a glass display cabinet for my cars and decided to 'dust' them before displaying them, unfortunately I didn't have a clue what I was doing and used a cloth with furniture polish on and wiped it across the windscreen which then clouded up and now looks s
t.
Is there anything I can do to bring the screen back to looking clear?
Cheers

Graham, I've read of successful ways of curing this some time ago and I'm sure it can be done.
Perhaps the best advice is probably this: http://www.ebay.com/gds/working-wth-your-model-apo...
Be cautious however as this treatment may not be suitable to your problem.

I've done something similar in the past, on a Minichamps 1/43 windscreen. I used Autoglym Fast Glass, applied with a Tamiya polishing stick thing and it worked pretty well, not quite perfect but you had to look hard to see the imperfection.
Apply in small amounts and rub very gently across the whole screen, not just the damaged area. You could probably use a cotton bud if you can't get the Tamiya stuff.
As always test first as I'm sure there will be different materials used by different makers.
