eBay examples turn into crazy bidding wars!

Do you need the money?

Will you enjoy building it?

Will you enjoy the final result of the build?

Intrinsically it is a cardboard box with some plastic and paper in it that some people are willing to pay money for to keep in another box in a dark attic.

I tend to view this the same way as I view mint boxed Dinky toys. They missed out on their prime intention of giving joy to their child owner and instead became a cosseted ornament for a speculative adult. Think Toy Story 3.

I'd say build it and enjoy it.

If you have no huge interest in that type of car I'd sell it, buy something else to build and pocket the difference.

If you want to built it because you owned that particular vehicle and want a model of it, then build it...but don't screw it up.
