Airfix Facebook page is saying they have a "BIG" announcement on Saturday at Telford......

They've sacked their panel line engraver?

Or - more serious guess - they are moving mainstream kit production back to the UK?

That would be good news. They might have decent control over their own production then. Or maybe the emphasis is on HUGE, and they are doing a 1/12th scale Lightning.

I know exactly what it will be, and it's going to be good :-)

Oh and I'm doing a talk in the lecture theatre on Saturday afternoon if anyone's interested...

I know this...

It's a 1:1 kit of Adolf Hitler, complete with one missing bk, but no swastika 'cos the Germans wouldn't buy it.

Sorry to let it out of the bag...

Yep, they're a nice bunch, a few of them go to my local model club (Medway Modelling Club) hence the invite to come have a look what they were up to- although anyone can visit. Think they're open on weds and sunday mornings.

Any idea what time your talk is at? I'll endeavour to get to it.

I attended a couple of the talks last year and they were very interesting.
