just got to the stage of testing the electronics but the plugs on the Tamiya DMD are too big to fit the sockets on the receiver. Is this solved by cutting the tabs off the tamiya DMD plugs and if so, which way should they then be inserted. I believe the black lead shoukld be closest to outside edge of receiver. Is this correrct? The recieiver is a Carson Reflex 2.4 GHZ

Thanks (I am new to this model building !!)

I built a Tiger I and a Pershing around 9yrs ago and don't recall having to cut anything on the electronics. It all just pushed together (I'm assuming you're referring to their r/c full option kits?).

Possibly the plugs on the hardware are the futaba type which have a tang on the side which won't fit a JR or Hitec type Rx. In which case yes you trim the tang off to make it a plain rectangle.

thanks guys. Yes, cutting the tabs off did the trick. All now connected. Next job, install in the tank!!
