All those wonderful steam locos in the sheds and he chose to film the railway running with a boring little shunter. frown

Blimey!! That's astounding. Truly amazing.

It looks to be a 7 1//4 gauge track -AND they have a 4-8-8-4 Union Pacific 'Big Boy' steam loco - It'll be at least 20ft long with tender!

And they chose to use that lawn mower engined box like shunter to show off the track .... Ffs!

Have I read that right? $3.5M? Doesn't seem a lot? In fact that seems amazingly cheap.

Second Q... Why is he selling? I'd love to know.

Found this http://www.mylargescale.com/Community/Forums/tabid... thread where the owner posts....he reckons it'll take years to sell it!

Here is another one http://www.mgdecals.com/SLOR.htm owner runs a small model railroad business printing decals.Got to agree with the comments about the loco in the first clip it's not even a replica of a full size one. The UP Big Boy must have cost in excess of $50.000. Incidentally wasn't a thread running on here from some building a steam loco?
