Having seen the trials Dr GN has had I wondered whether I'd find this kit problematic?

I bought the E-Type in the same new-tool series, and it looks extremely good. Not built yet, but temporarily taping things in place showed no big problems.
My experience of ‘new’ Airfix is that you never know exactly what you’re getting until you actually built it.
If I were you I’d go for it, but ditch the paints - it’ll probably be fine.
