So being the adult I am I figured I needed a "toy" for the kids.

Wanted to buy an RC and here in Dubai they are so accessible.

Ended up with a 1/7 MJX 7303 Citroen.

What a machine it is - Worked out to be about 280 with a 5000 3s battery.

It's fast and leaves tyre marks everywhere - The quality is excellent so far, I did run it on tarmac and sand/dirt with zero issues.

The details on the shell etc are excellent, it also has a clipless body and the sides are magnetic which is a nice touch.

Need a video of that please - looks very cool and great value if it all stays together!

I have run 5 charges through it now on a mix of sand and tarmac, the road tyres are not melted yet even tho i was running it in 44 degrees the other morning with the kids.

They managed to crash it a few times and it's as tough as nails now!

YouTuber TomleyRC did some vids on these, he really liked them. They do look decent for the money. They’re about £400 over here and they also do a VW Polo body shell.

They seem to be cheaper here but anything from China tends to be.

The shops that sell these have so many choices compared to the UK in my opinion.

Loads of knockoff big RCs but they all have a good rep.

I have ordered a different battery for this to get more speed out of it but just now in current form it leaves black marks on take off!

The gyro is really good on it as well. This is the revises version with the magnetic shell clips on it.

I've been hankering for a Traxxas UDR for a long time but the summer heat and the fact they're so dam expensive, I've just not done it.

Where did you pick this up from?
