Hi all recently started flying again after many years I need a couple of crystals for a model im building can anyone tell me the difference between dual and single band crystals, im not sure if single bands for futaba radios only but maybe totally wrong?

Receiver crystals will be either single or double conversion types.
Single conversion rx have only 1 Intermediate Frequency, double conversion rx have 2 IFs.
The Tx crystals are the same for either rx.

You just need to check if your rx are single or dual conversion types.
