decal varnish?

I am in the process of doing some decals which will be printed onto injet printable vinyl.

The instructions recommend using a varnish on top to protect & give it a more durable finish.

Anyone recommend a suitable product?

What is humbrol clearcote and satincote like?

Always used to use Halfords lacquer when I was ink jet printing decals. That was onto waterslide decal paper though, not vinyl.
