Peugeot 307 crank position sensor

The Mrs car wont start and I got a fault code up which referred to the crank position sensor (P0336). I have ordered a new sensor, but I can't find where the chuff the damn thing is. Can anyone help me work out what it is I need to take off in order to see the bloody thing or where abouts in the engine bay it lives?

It's a 1.6 petrol 307SW.

On the gearbox, front near the clutch lever. One 10mm bolt.

Only just seen I had a response, excellent, thanks for the info. If it ever stops raining/sleeting/hailing I'll get to have a look.
