Try the forums page on cliosport.net, loads of help on there. Hope you get it sorted, wicked little motors aren't they!

If it's definitely that mount causing the problem then undo the 4 bolts that hold the mount to the chassis pull the engine as far forwards as possible then retighten. This should help but I would suspect that your problem is with the dogbone mount (the mount that is at the rear under the manifold)

Try replacing the dogbone mount under the engine. I had imilar issues but I replaced all 3 mounts at the same time and problem solved.

The dogbone is a favourite culprit. But usually you would notice excessive gear stick movement when coming on/off throttle...say in 3rd or 4th, just gently apply, release the throttle and see the movement in the stick itself...they do move, but if you can pop it out of gear then it'll definately be the lower dogbone g/box mount!

This worked on mine. Try it before you fork out for the dog bone.

the square bit of the engine that sits in the square metal cup on top of the engine mount was moving about 1mm,making this clicking noise.my mate spotted it,prized it open a fraction with a screw driver.NOISE GONE. 9 months ive had that noise buggin me.
