Hello all,

Long story short, blew the turbo on my rather leggy 306 1.9td a couple of weekends ago on the M4(apologies if you were engulfed in the ensuing cloud of smoke). I've sourced a second hand unit from a scrapyard which I intend to fit, but both myself and the parts dealer at my local Peugoet dealership are unsure as to which gaskets I need to fit whilst I'm at it. Can anyone shed some light?

I've changed several turbos on my 306 now, never changed the gasket though and it's been fine. No leaks. They are of the metal type. Don't bother with any sealant, just make sure you tighten the manifolds back on properly!

Hi, i saw your post, and checked my haynes manual on the turbos you need find the right turbo for the engine because they fitted 3 types
this will dictate the type of gasket you use
hope this helps
